Amazingly I didn't give a single damn about Clara dying.
I hated Amy Pond and still felt a twinge of sadness when she left but I haven't cared about Clara as a character in so long that it was basically just one big :manny: watching that episode.
And I guess they have effectively killed any hops of Me becoming the new Companion since she is responsible for Clara being killed which is something the Doctor would never forgive.

Had the "A Good Man goes to War" vibe when he started getting angry.

Wonder if they'll bring back Jenny and Vastra so he can tell them?

Doctor Who is dope... huge Matt Smith & David Tennant fan because of it but I have gone back & watched the Classic Doctor Who episodes on Netlfix. Very genius how the storyline is developed in a way it can go on as long as they like & they can keep making & breaking the rules as they go along... :obama:

While I thought Capaldi acted his ass off in this episode, the episode itself was just an overabundance of all the worst aspects of Moffat's Doctor Who.

The Doctor Who Christmas Special Gets a Name—And a New Sonic Screwdriver!

This year, Doctor Who fans will have the shortest ever wait between the end of a season and the show’s now-traditional Christmas special—which is bringing Alex Kingston’s adventurer River Song back as a wildly divisive present under the tree. But she’s not the only thing making a return: The Doctor’s favorite toy is back too!

The special, written by Steven Moffat, has been titled “The Husbands of River Song,” and sees a lonely Doctor travel to meet his wife (and by the looks of it a giant, vaguely threatening robot) for the holiday—only to find he’s travelled to a point in time where River hasn’t met him yet. The “him” in this case being The Doctor’s current incarnation. According to Moffat, the special takes place immediately after the events of the 2012 story “The Angels Take Manhattan” for River.

Great episode but it's got me all kinds of fukked up, brehs. :sadcam:

I'm glad Clara isn't dead but I think it's really sad the only way they could part was one of them forgetting the other. :( At least that opens the door to some cameos for her in the future. I never wanted her to leave the series in the first place.
