Some movies can work without an origin movie. For example the first Blade movie wasn't really an origin movie.

Word is Marvel isn't doing origin stories anymore there characters are gonna be established already
And I would rather see Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme already than him complaining and whining about his fukked up hands and running hills :russ:
We'll probably get flashbacks tho
If you want the origin story just watch the animated

:whew: gonna check this

Really liked the animated films for both Dr. Strange and Black Panther. I really think those two deserve proper origin films but at this point they've hemmed and hawed sn much on BP it'll be a fukking miracle if we get the character at ALL

That whole movie was an origins movie.

It ripped off Doctor Strange's origin story. In the comic Doctor Strange is "lost" and is approached by a member of a secret order(Wong I think) who tells him that he can repair his broken hands if he joins them. There's an iteration where he overhears people talking about it. This involves him traveling to Tibet and climbing the Himalayas mountains where their base/temple is located. When Strange gets there, he gets trained by the The Ancient one which leads to him becoming the sorcerer supreme.

In Batman Begins. Bruce who's in a similar state to Strange is approached by a member of a secret order who tells him that he can help combat criminals if he joins them. To do so he has to climb the Himalayas Mountains where their base/temple is located. When Bruce gets there, he's trained to become and assassin which leads to him becoming Batman.

The supposed leader of the league of shadows in Batman Begins is played by Ken Watanabe.

The leader of the sorcerers that train Dr Strange is The Ancient One who looks like this

Of all the characters in the Marvel universe that have a movie, Dr. Strange is the one that actually should have an origin story. The regular movie goer doesn't know dikk about him. shyt, a lot of cats who know a little something about comics really don't know about Strange.

nikkas be like, "Eye of Agamotto? The fukk is that?"

I wouldn't mind seeing an origin story:yeshrug:
