He was normally more powerful than Superman (at one point Fate had all of his magic powers plus super-strength and invulnerability) but writers would always come up with weak ass reasons for why he would become less powerful.

Druid was good at ritual magic but nowhere near Dr. Strange.
He was a powerful telepath though.

Hard to write a riveting story with an OP character. That's DCs whole problem, honestly.

I think the only time he ever appeared in live action was a brief appearance in Smallville.
