I love it. HR Employee Relations. Part of the job is doing investigations into misconduct or harassment that involves talking to witnesses, potentially looking at surveillance. I could write a NY times best seller with some of the stories I got. These employees are wild.

It's cool. I work from home most of the time and I really don't have to do that much unless something is down or not working. Good benefits too.

Wasn't always like that though. Started out on helpdesk and worked my way up, and working from home only started after COVID. Only downside is that there's not really much room to move up unless I want to be a middle manager (and I don't).

It isn't fun or sexy, it's actually very mind numbing but it's consistent work and I do kind of like it but I want a day job

I need to finish my TEFL cert and go from there...

I literally gave him a template, two pieces of mine to copy, and our supervisor encouraged using AI

The pay isn't good enough for a worldwide, profitable company, the manager shows blatant favouritism and the clientele are largely trash.

Plus I am.self employed so I'm not obligated to any time table as I develop my course for each institution

1 contract could be for 4 hours and 1 contract could be 6 weeks
It's very flexible

I enjoy my job a lot, it’s stressful but rewarding. I’m unfortunately in an industry on the rocks with AI (HR) but I’ll ride this train till the wheels fall off then hopefully figure out things after I can’t go any further in the path I’m currently on
