China is not invading Taiwan. Too economically and culturally intertwined. If they “take” Taiwan, it won’t be through war. The risk is too high to become an international pariah the way Russia did after invading Ukraine. The perception of China has been changing in the west the last decade - I don’t think China wants to risk fukking that up.
