Lets be real most of TI's fans dont listen to him for "technical" ability. Not to say he can't rap because he can, but TI also was a very good SONG MAKER. That's where he's fallen off. TI used to be able to crank out singles like it was nothing, now it seems like he's trying too hard. Go Getta is a step in the right direction tho

Is it that he is trying to hard or is it that no one wants to hear it anymore?

:ehh: could be either or i suppose. I like Go Getta tho, so i think he still got it, he just gotta let it come back to him. Rap music doesn't sound right when its forced

I agree, he didn't fall off. he just in a weird spot with his subject matter..

If he talking bout selling bricks when we know he on probation its like :comeon:

If he talking bout knocking down and having a gang of hoes, it conflicts with his TV show cause we know he married and a family man.

I just think his time as passed as top notch rapper..

I think its hard for cats to let that go, He could still be winning with his TV show, his label, clothing line and I think he should get back to ghostwriting as well..

If T.I's history proves anything it should be that probation won't stop him from doing sumthing stupid lol,so I don't know why people say that...he should have credibility there.

And u believe that nikka ain't sleeping with hos besides Tiny:aicmon:...Tiny might know about it and he could still be a family man but :aicmon:...Tiny?

True. I just think with the nature of hip hop people don't allow you to come back in the game. I think if people like Nelly, 50, Busta, and Ludacris would all of a sudden just start dropping heat no one would care except for the die hard fans. One second you're on top then the next you just a bitter old head:damn:

Right now, T.I. is in a stale place, meaning he don't really have shyt to talk about. Maybe he need some sort of new life experience (not necessarily a bad experience) to give him a new subject matter or to restart his creative ability. Sorta like with Nas and the current "Life Is Good" run.

Thats a problem to me. In sports, if you can still perform at high levels and you're on equal footing if not better than all the young dudes coming into the game no one pushes you out the door. You keep going until you have either came and accomplished everything you wanted to or you can't keep up. Most high level athletes don't leave the sport until they literally can't hang anymore. It's not like someone came and ethered him. No one is really better than him. You could argue that T.I. is actually getting better so why does he need to fall back?

Doesn't need to, he just isn't popping any more. It happens, rap and sports are two different animals.People grow into sports, people grow out of rap.
