I have to say no. None of his verses are bad to me at all. Whenever I happen to catch a feature or something these days it doesn't make me go :krs:, but I don't see how people think he loss a step either.

No. He still has the skill set. It's just that a lot of what he's droppin' now sounds uninspired. Since he got out, these are the only songs that sound inspired IMO:

I'm Flexin'
Hear Ye, Hear Ye
Go Get It
Stuntin' Like A Fool
On Purpose

Other than maybe a couple of more songs from the mixtapes and some choice guest appearances sound like he really wants to rap.

I don't think he fell off skills wise. Actually, I think it's damn near impossible to fall off skills wise since this is basically poetry/writitng we're talking about. It's not a sport where your body will betray you after a certain age or injury or something; there's no reason for your writing skills to falter.

What can happen - and what I think happened with Tip - is just losing interest in the art. That or the game just advances right by you. I don't think Tip even really wants to rap any more, he sounds like he's phoning it in.

i dont think his skills or flow changed at all, theres just too many other rappers who have stepped in and filled his lane so he lost the level of interest he once had

Nope, he's probably spittin at his highest level at this stage of his career. I think the problem is people don't really take him seriously these days, because of all the legal trouble he's managed to make it out of, which has put him under a "Rick Ross" level of scrutiny

His technical ability hasn't gone anywhere, people are just fickle sheep

Basically,I don't know why rap fans can't just admit they go sick of hearing a nikka for no reason...nikkas just seem less and less remarkable with each album, only ya absolute favorites will survive the cut.

Technically he certainly hasn't fell off but just has become repetetive I guess,he murdered Here Ye and that new single Go Get It "I done mo then you dreamed bout to ya dream bytch in yo dream house on lean passin them beans out"....he can still rap circles around Ross and Jeezy,2chainz or whoever else in his lane.

I do think T.I is finding out what happens when u go for that commercial grab and distance yaself from ya core fans,u gain fans but u losin the core ones the more u make that reach....and the ones you gain being more commercial/pop is usally far more fickle than the core audience who made you in the first place.

If being commercial ain't how you got your fans id say 9 times outta 10 longevity wise and legacy wise its not the best way to go.....off top I can't think of absolutley anybody who its worked out for in the end when u wanna have that long quality 20 yr career and be remembered.

They see me trolling, they hating.....
When he first came out he was garbo imo

couldn't stand that thick southern bamma accent

then when he switched up his flow and started articulating his words more I became a fan

haven't heard any of his new shyt tho, or any hiphop for the matter besides the big dudes like Jay and Nas

Skills wise most definitely not. Some of the flows on that mixtape are dope as f*ck (Loudmouth, Hot Wheels). Here Ye, Hear Ye was straight fire and I f*ck with Go Get It. All features been dope. Even the freestyles.

His buzz might be not what it was but his ability has not waned at all.

his voice is way different.... he is sounding too hard these days. He needs to be more laid back and glide on the beat.
