Well right now hookers on the street can and do get raped/beaten/robbed with no option of going to police without incriminating themselves.
Legalizing it gives the woman some protection.
well drugs is just a person and the drugs. it really is a 'victimless crime'

sex involves 2 people
playing devils advocate but crack and meth addicts put a drain on hospitals etc and not to mention the people that rob/steal to get their fix.

I wasn't saying that, but apparently TUH thinks the dude is the victim in the strip-club

but I'm not looking for the victim in the actual act. I'm saying is this something that will benefit women overall in the long run? I'm not claiming to have the answer, but I don't think the issue is as simple as some of you make it out to be

naw this is a benefit for men. You think this would handicap women in what way? I mean around the world there is not really alot of respect for women. Even in the most progressive of places women are still looked at as sex objects.

Legalize it

But it's not going to happen. Seeing prostitutes is a big taboo here in the U.S more so than other countries, you legalize it you remove most of the taboo from it = it becomes accepted. Women will have a fit, women loving acting the holier than thou role already , that's why there is a such a big stigma on "hoes" that comes mostly from women themselves not guys like its made out to be. Could you just imagine instead of going through the bullshyt games women at the club and other places to even let you fukk , you could go into one of these legal brothes, pay your cash , handle your business and leave. Cleanly , no problem no worries. Women here would have to get there shyt together ASAP, no more of them cat n mouse games.

I also dont think it would automatically make every women become a prostitute, sure the # would go from what it is now but a lot of those high end hoes who charge couple of hundred and even thousands for sex would be left in the dust , more women in the game = the prices would go down. Sex is a huge industry look at how much porn makes, economy would get a boost. Vice arrest would go down etc

This, its not that I agree with it nor would I participate. But it can be taxed through a brothel system i would guess. Almost like making chicks pay booth rent, a percentage of what a chick makes is given to the brothel and in turn the brothel pays taxes. MANDATORY monthly testing for EVERYTHING, MANDATORY PROTECTION NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to comply with testing or the use of protection will result in fines/jail time ect.

I will say that a Red Light District would need to be established in cites then....legal or not i wouldn't want to raise my kids down the street from a brothel OR even a strip club for that matter. Red Light Districts serve a purpose and personally i think America is decades behind on this.

no doubt, but all those things are just "byproducts" or whatever. the point is theoretically a person could do drugs and effect no one but themselves. the act of sex (as it pertains to this thread) involves 2 people no matter what

that's a legit argument behind HARD narcotics, you can't function on Meth/Heroin/Crack in the same way that coke heads do....or even regular weed smokers.

I'm all for weed being legal, but hard narcotics is a slippery slope...but you WOULD take away the thrill element, doing it just cuz its illicit.

I'm saying there's a movement of people that want to progress past women being looked at as sex objects. a movement that would like to see more respect for women around the world. and that movement would probably see legalizing prostitution as being counterproductive to those goals

:ohhh: to social ramifications.

I still don't think women are gonna flock to being whores. Like Lupe said, "keep ya sons out the slums and ya daughters out of orgies."

i hope they make it but realistically they will have to compromise because people love to do certain things and it won't stop. The temperance movement tried and all it did was give rise to organized crime and gave people an unmoral reason to keep things illegal.

I'm sorry but how can you guys just keep discussing this after that caved in head guy's picture was posted? I am completely fukked up after seeing that dude's flat head.
He should be given a lifetime pass to the whorehouse of his choosing just for having to go through life looking like that.

Bro what are trying to say....

Two people having sex........

Both Men and women like sex.......

The men gets off from pleasure....

and the female gets off from pleasure & money......

I'm saying there's a movement of people that want to progress past women being looked at as sex objects. a movement that would like to see more respect for women around the world. and that movement would probably see legalizing prostitution as being counterproductive to those goals
Depends I know a lot of females who view prostitution as empowering and believe it should be legalized. When I was younger I rolled my eyes to this notion, but a woman is entitled to do whatever she wants to with her body.

:salute:

:ohhh: Now that think about it, there is no real easy answer.....
