Harden is a max caliber player. He is very very young and already very good. He will get a lot better in the next few years. He had a bad finals but will learn and get better through that experience.

Naw to me he never performed in the final series and are we forgetting that he still comes of the bench. The only player that deserves max off the bench is Manu

Depends what team is going for him. He has talent and is young shytty teams gotta overpay to get talent and I can easily see a team throwing the max at him. Then he will promptly start and get exposed as what he truly is...a roleplayer at best.

No way in hell. It's easy to beast against 2nd team scrubs, much tougher to do it against starters in the league.

Plus, there's only about 10 or so players in the league. Harden is not one of them...the only thing he does well is score. If he's not scoring he has no other tangible effect on the outcome of a game.

Mediocre defender & is a volume shooter. Got exposed in the Finals. You'd give this dude max money? :rudy:

No but to say he is Ben Gordon is absurd. Anyone would be a volume shooter on a team with only two scoring options.

Me = no

The sixers = Shyt yeah

why do people always say "X player is gonna only get better over the next few years" just because he's young and good now..

Guys do get worse or are exposed for being overrated because they play with great players.

No, Harden is the most overrated player in the league. He's not even capable of putting up those number as a starter. Harden is fools gold for anyone who gives him a max.

I really dont understand this "exposed" in the finals shyt yall nikkas is spouting. Did he perform well? No, but neither did anybody else on the Thunder really except KD. He had a great first half in game 2 (the only reason they were in the game at that point) and a certain **cough**:youngsabo:**cough** didnt want to pass him the ball anymore (only took 2 shots in the second half). But just cause he had a bad finals means we should forget the rest of the shyt he did in the playoffs most especially what he did in the Western Conference finals?:shaq2:Must we forget how LeBron performed in last finals? and even after that I bet most teams wouldnt hesitate to trade whatever for LBJ.

But to answer the question. No he doesnt deserve a max contract but rest assured somebody will give it to him.

The real question is, will a team throw him a max contract?

And the answer to that is yes.

lets see.......he's probably the best SG in the league under 25. well between him and eric gordon. and perhaps paul george soon. but since there are few young good SG's in the league right now, that means he's getting near a :russ: type contract.
