they won't have money to re-sign him. He wants to come to chicago, a bigger market, best PG in basketball, great coach, solid supporting case.
no hes not. no one wants to play with a crippled pg

shyt's comedy, dudes dont know nothing about basketball contracts; talking figures that dont even make financial sense coming off of a rookie contract. besides that i doubt he even gets anywhere near 4 years 60 more like 4 years 50 presti about to lock him up at the end of the season anyway. Ibaka can get traded all i care, his worth is overrated anyway i wouldn't be surprised if he himself realizes this and takes a 4 years 40 .
They aren't winning this series without Ibaka, and why would he take 4 years $40 million when DeAndre Jordan just got 4 years and $43 million, and Jordan got that contract before he became a fulltime starter.
Presti can offer Harden an extra year over anyone else, that isn't the point of all this, it's wondering if the Thunder can keep all 4 of their best players together.
As long as the owner is cool with it, they should just go into the luxury. That core group should be able to make it to the finals as long as they're together. Doesn't really matter who else is on that squad.

No it's not read the thread title, it says nothing about ibaka or his future has no indication of ibaka's name at all. DJ got that contract because of the warriors bidding on him , that wasn't the initial offer from the clippers.
20 million - KD
14 million - Russy
14 million - Harden (can't they use Larry Bird rights here? )
9 or 10 million - Ibaka
rest for the bench
Thabo can stay. Perkins has to go though.
i think that makes sense
Is he worth a max deal? No.
Will he get a max deal? Yes.
Will he get it in OKC? Yes.
Say OKC doesn't win the championship this year, how do you justify giving someone a max deal coming off the bench who wasnt a championship winning piece.

He plays a thin position, and somebody out there will offer him max or very close to it because of that. It could be a Joe Johnson situation all over again, except unlike the Suns the Thunder know just how good Harden is and want to keep him but might not be able to afford it.
