dapped OP but these posters have made your thread smell like mayo, sunscreen and a Dave Matthew's Band concert ...
OP is using this topic as a vehicle to be allowed to say The N Word and engage in Black issues/topics without blowback.
"I'm Greek so I've got Black ancestry why can't I say the word?"
"I have African ancestry why can't I have a voice about Black Issues?"
Get this garbage out of here
Originally doesn't mean black now :face palm:
No where in this thread or have I ever claimed I was black or not white, Greece originally being black doesn't mean I am
I'm not saying I'm black, I consider myself white but ancestry wise and DNA wise Greeks have more in common with traits most common in Africans (Benin-sickle cell and Vitamin D deficiancy, which I am both) Than any other Europeans or group, that's what influenced me to learn about this and question the theory of Greeks were even originally Aryan.
But how did Aryan-Greeks even come to become Aryan in the first place if we all migrated out of Africa? The only sense that makes is the theory of "mutation" that created the white race.
There's plenty of Greeks who don't even consider themselves white, I do because that's how I've been raised. Greek immigrants assimilated into white supremacy but they were originally not considered white
Yep somebody always gotta whine if you discuss black/African world history in TLR.These threads always upset certain posters
Exactly what is the difference between Aryan, Anglo, & Caucasian? They all just mean "White" to me.Indo-European migrations - Wikipedia
Greeks are not 'Aryan'. But they are likely related to the Indo-Aryans which migrated to what is now Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh thousands of years ago.
Similar to how the Bantu left a homeland around the border between modern-day Nigeria and Cameroon, Proto-Indo-Europeans migrated from somewhere in Eurasia to different parts of that continent.

from Middle Persian Ērān "(land) of the Iranians," genitive plural of ēr- "an Iranian," from Old Iranian*arya- (Old Persian ariya-, Avestan airya-) "Iranian", from Indo-Iranian *arya- or *ārya-, a self-designation, perhaps meaning "compatriot" (see Aryan).
