Last stand up I saw of him was Kings of comedy and I thought that was good. Not seen anything else since though.

DL stand up is good not great. Hes great on interviews. I also think his tv show was alright.

He is not funny. He’s one of those weak comedians that pick on his audience. On a scale of 1-10, he gets a -5

Saw him live at a comedy club. He's funny.

Side note: I've come to like him more since he moved into political commentary; he's shown that he's a person who can admit when he's wrong and desires to educate himself. As he got older he's become far more introspective, and that probably turns some people off.

It's kinda telling--at least to me--that so many people in this thread only liked his more mean-spirited content.

He's host/talk show. Stand-up, nope. We had Kings of Comedy and really only one of them was as a standup lol...I actually like his political breakdowns. I don't always agree, but the way he crafts his message is well-suited for TV/Radio talk format. I know CNN gave him a show way back when, but I think another panel talks how he could crush it with the right producer.

He's agreeable funny. He will say some relatable shyt that makes you chuckle. But the nygga ain't gonna have you in stitches.

His Comedy is like an off the bench version of Chappelle and Chris Rock but he doesn't have that extra gear to get you to really laugh

I feel the exact same way.

He’s good for a little chuckle but won’t have me on the ground laughing like early Chappelle or Chris Rock.

Him roasting people is him at his funniest.

I also think he’s feminine.

I was surprised that he has kids etc.

These days he’s too political for my taste.
