Probably..

If I am fighting @ my age, then I deserve to get dogwalked except if I am a victim of a crime or defending the defenseless...

Some cats have really never been in a fight. Not every punch is a knockout or will even rock your shyt to where your dazed and confused. Being hit 20 times in different areas of your face will have you saying :whoa: much faster than you anticipated. its one thing to see a punch come at your face, then feel it when it hits you. It's an entirely different game when your looking at the guy then suddenly feel a punch pop your face.

Boxers watch your hands and your eyes. These cats that have never fought have novice faces. They get hit in their nose and their eyes water, they get punched under the eye they'll be blinking 25-50 times trying to see straight, and while their mind is busy processing and completing the task of restoring vision, the boxer is going to piece up the other side off your face or get your liver, kidneys, solar plexus.

He might not knock you out at all. About 15 punches hitting you and you whiffing 3 is gonna have you saying :camby:

100%

A clean 1-2-3 is getting a majority of people to rethink their decisions. Watch ur chest too. I will dead ass see what you bout to do before it happen just offa cues. Regular cats will be gassed just off of feints in 30 seconds :dead: and people not used to getting hit i. They eye and having to deal with it. First time I got blasted in my eye my reaction was to call time but I knew my trainer was not gon stand for it and I would look dumb asf so just kept going.

Nvm people dont realize how fukking fast a lower weight striker is. Itll look like the fist aint gon make it to where you are the next second you popped :mjlol:

I never went pro but I boxed a lot and against good ass people. Its a diff level of hands

that depends entirely on the skill of the boxer

I’ve sparred pure boxers before a few times in mma rule set, of course they got solid stand up but once grappling gets involved I have my way with them. One time a 6-1 amateur wanted to try mma so he stopped by our gym

He was piecing me up in midrange of course so I had to keep it long range or clinch. his boxing stance left him open to low kicks and single legs. Whenever I got to the clinch or got that single he was donezo, he had zero grappling but def had them stickies on the feet.

That being said it depends on the light weight boxer we’re talking about. Imma lightweight myself

Yea that "I'll just do meh BJJ and takem down" is :childplease:..

Easier said than fukking done.

Bjj alone would be difficult, if this is a guard puller we’re talking about then the boxer will have an advantage

Now a bjj guy with good takedown skills is a whole different story. A grappler with good stand up has a higher chance of getting that takedown than a boxer has on getting that knockout. A boxers very stance leaves them vulnerable, he would have to do more of an mma stance
