What we do is get one of these journeymen to fight both inside and out of a ring. We then post it live in The Coliseum.

Zay’s ability to make absolutely nonsensical statements and make it seem like he is serious needs to be studied. Seriously. It truly is a masterclass in getting comments for a thread

He will start a thread that states:

Giraffes are not the tallest land mammal in 2025. Why are they lying to us? Then sit back like :jbhmm: and act perplexed that the whole board is going against him. Meanwhile he is slow rolling to another plat thread.

Anybody else starting this thread it would immediately fall off the first page and be on the short bus to getting bushed. Nobody would take it serious and it would get only a handful of replies

Average dude on the street has no footwork, keeps his head on the center line, only tries to punch for the head, does absolutely no body work, horrible stamina, doesn’t jab their way in, switches stances frequently like they’re switch hitters but by mistake , telegraphs every punch, doesn’t know how to guard, doesn’t tuck their chin, thinks forehead punches are smart, has horrible punch selection and can’t throw a competent combonation to save his life. Average dude is getting starched by a journeymen.

Even a low level pro boxer has high level stamina if nothing else. He can just wait it out. But the skill gap between a trained boxer and a street dude is miles wide.

That was a sucker punch...
Definitely wasn’t :rudy:
He had just ran up and swung on one dude then turned around, walked up to buddy and raised his right hand to point or swing and got deactivated for it. Either way, that ain’t no sucker punch. Don’t raise your hands at folks. He wanted to be active. He got it.

Folks have no concept of how hard it actually is to stay in the pocket and competently throw hands- it is absolutely much more difficult to people think it is

Oh and by the way defend yourself at the same time

Go and think you can beat up Chop Chop let me know how that goes.

I have a black belt in Karate and a brown belt in Taekwondo and take BJJ and Muay Thai and even though this is not boxing

I have sparred with Olympic level people. Folks who compete nationally and have won tournaments at very high levels and can compete at the pro level.

In all four styles. I can hang up to a point before their skill level is simply too much for me. Their conditioning, timing, ability to endure pain is just higher than the average person and SKILL.

These people are either in the gym 5 days a week and competing pro on weekends or this is all they do.

They don't eat the regular food that you and I do or slack off in any manner

And I'm pretty well trained and have been doing it for a number of years. I can defend myself against someone non or semi trained.

You are getting scorched by somebody who does it professionally
This is definitely the part people won't get. Just in an Amateur 3 round fight you may get hit 20-40 times. There's no way a regular breh going to take that and still be standing

I don't care what martial artist style you take.

Your body is conditioned to be hit, pulled, turned, thrown to the ground and absorb shots. The highest of the level guys have a pain tolerance you simply can't reach

If you haven't taken a punch to the midsection, the liver or even blocking with your arms you simply have no chance.
