yeah. I don't know how you can watch college basketball, but not NBA. Or are there too many % of negro for you? I've notice some white people doing that, because in college basketball, there are some all white team they can root for. Don't be surprise if there's a spike in the NBA season rating because there's an almost all cac team in Minnesota.

Games are more unpredictable in college, most people have alma maters, and expectations generally vary so almost everyone can get some enjoyment out of the season.

and if you think the T'wolves are gonna attract more people to watch the game just because they have more white guys, you're a retard.

breh, you know damn well I'm talking about people who watch sports. If you a lawyer or have any white collar career where you don't have time to watch sports, I can understand. What I don't understand is some black dude who watch baseball(:gag:), but not basketball.

I'll blame this on youth.

Boxing and Baseball were the biggest sports in the black community during the new deal era and jim crow.

If you're over 28 and had a close relationship with your grandfather, 8 times out of 10 that old nikka would watch a baseball game in a heartbeat

Again...what is this fascination on The Coli with nikkas trying to pit sports against each other? :what:

So y'all have taken that 50 Cent polarizing "must-like-one-or-the-other" approach and applied it to sports now, is that it? :snoop:

I've been a fan of BOTH sports my entire life....this website and SOHH is the only place where I've ever seen DUDES trying to disprove the popularity of one sport in their attempts to big up another. It's pretty silly, actually.

Also, no offense to threadstarter but....people who make threads saying "if you don't like/do (insert whatever), I don't respect you..." are hilarious. Like, do people REALLY think others care about receiving their validation like that? "Oh, so-and-so said he doesn't respect me, mebbe I should start watching more NBA games..." :childplease:

Y'all take this site - and more specifically, YOURSELVES - far, far too seriously man...

They see me trolling, they hating.....
A black person loving basketball is stereotypical and expected of them.

Black people, fried chicken, basketball, watermelon, illegitimate children, Tyler Perry they all go together

why are u enforcing a stereotype? if anything u should be relieved to see someone breaking the mold.

and yes most human beings enjoy basketball, but honestly I don't really keep up with games nowadays and the 2012 finals were the only games I've watched the entire year.

In fact I don't watch TV period, my ish only comes on for an occasional movie or video game.

I'd rather watch a Jordan documentary or play oldschool teams in NBA 2K than watch a modern NBA game

If anything the average person working a 9-5 bussing their ass everyday doesn't get enjoyment out of seeing a bunch of 19 yr olds running up and down the court making more in one year then they'll do in their entire lifetime

Stop trying to re-enforce these stereotypes that st0rmfr0nt members already have of us bro

College basketball>NBA

Players obviously aren't as good, but I love the atmosphere the intensity and the fact that every night you know those kids going out giving 100%. And that's before March Madness :wow:

I fukk with the NBA too, but I can't watch an entire regular season game without falling asleep unless it's a primetime match up. Usually just wait to the playoffs for the nba. College basketball for me is always exciting. NBA a lot of times is hit or miss.

Games are more unpredictable in college, most people have alma maters, and expectations generally vary so almost everyone can get some enjoyment out of the season.

or better yet, don't care about basketball

I could understand if a black homosexual wasn't into it, but any straight black male, I lose all respect for them.

People like what they like. It's not your place to tell someone else he MUST like this or that in order to validate his masculinity.

Some would say the same about the NFL and to me personally Football is only tied for 3rd among my favorite sports which is why in MY world the NFL will never come before the NBA.

Heck by the world standard the entire USA man card would have been revoked by not being into soccer. U.S. is barely 3% of world population and practically the only place where soccer is not king or top 3 sport
