I love my name because it sounds pretty and it's very rare. I've never known of another person who has my name.

Growing up, I never liked(didn't say hate) my name because I was teased about having a "feminine" name and it wasn't a common name(black or otherwise). I have matured since then but even now, that eats at me because people butcher the name because they're stupid or lazy to learn how to say my name correctly, they call me Pat/Patrick(which I detest) or dudes try to emasculate me in the "black men are gay" age... the unique name doesn't help. Females like the name because it's unique and "pretty" to them. I've gotten over it now.....

My name is of Latin origin... Italian spelling and it means "noble."
