Do you like your name?

I used to get teased about my name because it was African and hard to pronounce. However, I would never change it, it keeps me linked to my culture and represents my family. I don't even use nicknames. Also, there is a song titled after my first name.

Oh sorry...I'm adopted. My birth name was Marshall Rena P. but they assumed she meant Michelle so just changed it.

Yeah, by reading my name you have no idea whether I'm Black, White, Asian, NOTHING, it gives no indicators since my name is not common at all. I know people like Dante Williams, Maria Lopez, Jessica Kyle, my shyt is lowkey.

Somewhat, i made reference to my name in another thread(its close to a certain rapper name sign to Maybach Music Group)....couple of people know it (mostly coli females). Its Arabic and it meaning [theres 3 different meaning] is befitting of me.

My mom did something like that too, she gave me a middle name since my dad dosen't have one and she said she wasn't pushing her firstborn out and having him name it completely.

I'm sure this has already been said but this thread was doomed from the beginning. Asking brehs if they like their names knowing damn well ain't nobody really revealing their real names for fear of the wolves catching a scent.

But I do love my name.

My mom have my bro 2 middle names, she had full control over naming him so she went crazy. She wanted our names to be "exotic" so I'm sure that's why my dad took over like . I ended up with a Spanish middle name and if he hadn't stepped in my first name would have been "Reiko".

I like my name and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Most Indians Americanize their names growing up but not me, fukk that.
