I lent a cousin of mine close to 3k so she can pay her rent.

I KNOW I aint getting it back tho. Just have to come to terms with it.

I've loaned money to my older sister a few times, she never paid me back. One day I told my father, and he asked me why I did it. I explained. He said he never loans money to people if less he can afford to lose it. You never know though, some day you might need to borrow money from your fam.

Only people I'd lend to is my mom or Mother in law but they would probably never ask. Anyone else I'd say no because most people I know don't manage their money right and I'm not here to bail you out because your irresponsible. Plus I have kids to take care so most of my money goes to them- daycare, college fund, etc

Tell them go get a payday loan like all the other irresponsible people do. Anybody with a job and a pulse can get one of those. I took one out a while ago when my credit was less that stellar. If you just do one its not that bad it's just the fools that take out loans to cover loans that get burned.

Lend? Naw you don't lend family money, you just give it to em and forget about it. If you don't have or don't wish to give it to em you say I don't have. You will never get that money back from family. If I give money to my family I just give what I can and keep it moving

Yes, however it's never a loan. Always a gift. If you don't have the money to give them, just say so. Don't mask it as a loan, it will create rifts within your family.

That's what I do. If I don't have the full amount then I give what I can and forget about it.
