Do you let family members borrow money?

I just lent out $50.

I only did it because its my cousin, and she said she gonna pay me back next week.

I hate lending out money though, man. But, I'm always prepared to take an L and just chalk it if they try to get over on me

And my response was, no, I don't. But family is different tho. Luckily no one in my family asks me for money but if they did, I would probably lend it to them. But if they kept coming to me asking me for cash and never paying back, I would put a stop to that eventually.

I think it says something about your character that you were willing to help her out at such a risk to your own situation. :D
In the future though, make sure you can afford to give it away. Don't let your kindness be to a fault.

Nah, I don't let them borrow it. I let them have it if I can spare it. Depends on who the family members are. If it's my mama, my brothers or my sisters then they got it. If it's some of my cuzzins then I can't spare it for them to borrow or have.

I do the same with friends.
I let one of my homies borrow $600 when he was trying to get this buick from some nikka. He get the car and i ain't see or hear fron him in a year. He popped back up after being in the bay for a while with a brand new durango, came thru the house and gave me $700 even tho i didn't mention the money i gave him.

I got other friends who I wouldn't let borrow a dollar.

I don't lend money to anybody. If I have it to give and am willing I give and if not tough luck. We live in a world of credit cards and bank loans. If a person can't get money through those avenues that says all that needs to be said about their ability to pay back a loan.
