The latest edition of The Wrestling Observer reports that CM Punk quietly competed in a Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) tournament recently. He did so quietly and under his real name of Phil Brooks. He placed third in the 199.9 weight class division that had three competitors.

I see him coming back to the WWE when or if he's inducted into the HOF or maybe signs a legends contract but as far as a active participant? Nope. He might do a one off match here and there in NJPW or AEW but that's about it.

I can see him come back for a HOF induction or career spanning DVD ala HitGOAT. I think him and Cokeboy might make amends before the old man croaks. Other than that, we won't see him in the WWE.

Punk never had the makings of a varsity athlete
Not for WWE or even AEW. Punk came out on some grouch shyt not too long ago because Cody texted him it would be cool if he wanted to make an appearance at their show instead of making him an official offer. CM Punk is a some timey dude who has to be talked to just right and even then he may be carrying over anger from stubbing his toe in the morning so you never know with him, it seems easy to get on his bad side, he stopped fukking with Hornswoggle because he asked for a mutual friend's number and Punk felt he was being used. HHH said he sensed Punk had issues with him and would ask him and every time he was evasive and said he was fine and that's one of the few times I believe HHH's side. The only way I see him coming back to wrestling is if some money finances one of his projects in exchange for him wrestling a return match other than that I believe he's done.
