He's one of those people you wanna see succeed because he's a legit nice guy and has gone trough A LOT of shyt.

But it is what it is. He's a very limited QB and this situation was bound to happen eventually.

Damn...torn between options 2-5. The level of caping for dude is :scusthov:. Aikman and Bradshaw were just sickening. Then again based on how those guys won their rings I can see how they would identify with Smith. :ehh:

Kinda but not so much since he was feeling himself after one good season deep into his career and tried to take bytchmade shots at Cam for no reason.

I'll give him the Bears W but aint nothing he really did against the Saints that I dont think Smith couldnt have.

:what:

Did you watch the game? There were like 5-7 throws Kaep did that Alex wouldn't even tries to make if he's playing. In the 2nd drive (that ended in a TD), Kaep eluded the pressure and made plays were Alex would have taken sacks.

Also, our running game was non existent until late in the 4th quarter. That's when Alex struggles the most. I don't see him having that key 9 minute drive the way the Saints D was playing against the run.

I'll give him the Bears W but aint nothing he really did against the Saints that I dont think Smith couldnt have. With that said I agree with everything else you said. With Smith he's been in the league 7 years, we know what he IS. Slightly better than a game manager (very slight). He isnt winning you any SBs (he wont be the reason you lose but he isnt that QB that you goin need). If you take a look at the QBs who have won the last however many SBs (Eli, Rodgers, Ben, Peyton, Brees, Brady) Smith isnt and will never be close to that. Kaep has shown that AT THE VERY LEAST he can do for you what Smith has and has the ability to take it EVEN FURTHER into possibly being close to what the elites can do for you.

This is how I know you don't watch Smith or Kaep for that matter. I won't talk about the several penalties that took some big plays off the board or the many sacks he avoided which Alex would not have.

The dude played his 2nd game and is somehow being compared to a guy who has played 80+. That does not bode well for Smith. Not only that but we were actually converting on 3rd down which we never do. That throw to Delanie...Alex does not make. The one to Crabs..he does not make. Alex Smith is limited and is a dink and dunker.

The fact that you admit that he can at least do what Alex can and then some shows that he should start. Why sit a 2nd year player who's better than your 8th year player who you can cut at the end of the season?

feel sorry for HOW it went down, but overall, no. dude benefited so much from being white and leaning on the "different offensive coordinator" excuses for so long, we should moved on years ago. but, being that he has improved and even helped us, in these last two seasons, the timing sucks....but the offense looks so much better under kaep tho :manny:

too bad, so sad, your loss

Shouldn't have got injured :heh:

Feeling sorry? Dude was the number 1 pick and had more chances than any other qb I can think of it.

He ran a basic check down system, could barely throw for 300 yards, never ha a 20 td season. He should have got h point when the 49ers took kaepernick , should have got the point when they were going after Peyton

Harbough had Andrew luck at Stanford and was a qb

i hate when people say "o i dont sympathize with him he's making millions of dollars" like somehow he got lucky wont he lottery and got paid millions of dollars.

He has a skill set that he worked to perfect that is valuated at several million dollars a year, he makes that money and more back for the organization in jersey sales, tickets and misc. other ventures...

If youre gonna say you dont feel bad for him fine... but please just in general stop fukkin coppin out with this... "oh that idiot is making millions of dollars he should shut up and take gettin shet on"

nah he's making what hes worth, and my ability to empathize with his position on the team has nothing to do with his paygrade.

:whoa: I was agreeing with you that Kaep should start. As far as throws Alex can or cant make I wont argue with you there you more than likely have watched him more over the years than I have...:ld:
