Thats were i been the past 6 years, i got to the highest level without going salary and been here since but i agree on the soul crushing part. i deal with hospitals, member submit claims, sole providers, other insurance companies and other blue cross plans. Only good thing is flex hours and just listening to musi all day long.

I work in accounting, i love it, it's challenge, little to know math, mostly concepts. I think i dislike the people most.

I've thought about the writing thing before too though (check the sig...i don't update that btw:( ) and honestly unless you're a damn good writer you'll be a starving writer.

Work for money
Write for enjoyment.

That's what I say.

The best job I ever had though was delivering ice in Arizona. Woke up at 2am, got home at 6pm, lifted several tons a day in ice and drove around all day long...i don't know why but i just enjoyed the fuk out of it.

I work in Healthcare as a Electronic Health Record Consultant. I feel like my work is valued and appreciated and its nice to see my work come to fruition in patients everyday lives. Even though I didn't want to enter this career from college working in the hospital while i was in school definitely helped me get to where im at.

I feel like as long as you feel like your making a difference in whatever you do makes the job easier. I never dread coming into work.

i work in SEO, went to college for something completely unrelated.

i dont like the job or the pay, but i do like the skills i have acquired and the working conditions (very laid back, take lunch when i feel like it, get into the office when i feel like it, etc.)

im extremely bored with it now, but i will be putting my skills to use with my own business ventures in the coming months.

Behind You
I am kind of burned out on what I do (work in IT field) and am open to a change in direction.
Like where I work though so I am looking at transitioning into a different section of the company first and if that doesn't work out then I will look to bounce.
