I think I should have became a writer. I think I would have been happy writing either about politics, history and society or hip-hop culture. When I think about it, I spend alot of time on this very site discussing these issues.

How do you make money off of that? Blogger, freelance writer?

y don't u like it.

from my angle, PM seems like a great good job- that is what you make of it..... maybe u should chose a dif industry.

It's not all negative. I like it when we are busy and working on an implementation cause things are kind of exciting. But when we are done and we are providing prod support, it's dull and uninspiring.

You should look into healthcare PM then...with all the exchanges and Duals projects going on, there is no down time. My team has 5 projects going live on 11/1 and like 8 going live on 1/1/14.

Theres a moment at my current, at least once a week, where I think about walking it traffic so I dont have to work there anymore. Things are changing though, im being recruited by them alphabet boys for police work with great pay and benefits but I'll most likely hate that shyt too. That pension is so attractive though. I'd be a novelist if the pay was guaranteed and these students loans wasnt on my dikk.

Best job i had was trucking, lots of travel, lots of no risk flirting, taught me how to deal with folks, etc. I've seen what real money looks like:wow: I've also noticed how often real money leaves its lonely thirsty wives at home alone.

u really wanna work for abc's?

gross.

but if u do, you will be surprised at how much money u will have if u include benefits. and the lifestyle isn't really bad. They told me how much I would make right after training.... I was pretty shocked... that position only required a bachelors degree.

Nah i delivered/picked up materials (furtinure, electronics, etc) from rich people. It was a good summer job for book money but that was 14hr work days with a lot of down time. It aint worth it.

I must've lucked out because my inside guy told me i got in over a bunch of better qualified candidates. Imma ride this as long as possible until they realize they fukked up. Doesnt hurt the resume if you dont get dropped for something illegal :yeshrug: If the benefits are good I'm willing to do just about anything

At the beginning of mean streets
I love what I do, it doesn't pay much considering the amount of experience I have, but it's a non-profit and I basically put young black kids to work and help them build their careers before they even reach college. I love it cause I build an individual relationship with all these kids and I get to see their success. It makes me feel good, and I look forward to doing my job.

I do IT Support for a living, it's...ok.

The place I work (public sector) pays reasonably decently for the job and the benefits are pretty good, however taking support calls is still a headache sometimes...I definitely have more than my share of days where I just don't feel like getting out of bed to deal with people's computer/phone issues all day. It gets kind of dull/repetitive after a while, and some of the people I have to deal with are obnoxious.

Hoping to move up into more of a Network Admin role in the next few years, but openings are hard to come by.

But then again, I regularly stop at Subway or Wendy's after work, and that kind of reminds that I could be working there. :ld:

Don't really know what my ideal job is. When I was a kid I used to read Gamepro/EGM and thought it would be cook to review videogames in a book like that for a living, but I'm sure that's a hard job to come by (and actually get paid decently for). I honestly don't think I'd work if I didn't have to. I'd probably sleep in every day and then just chill at home drinking/smoking/playing video games.
