Yes, tap water in NYC is pretty good. I find buying bottle water a waste of time and money, sure it's great for when you're "out & about" but the taste ain't all that different .

Yes. But folks in some states shouldn't deink the water.

California has trash water, which is why their pizza is trash. Tri-state has that good tap water, so our pizza crust tastes good.

I thought it was because we have a culture that pushes us towards actually brushing our teeth multiple times a day coupled with the fact don’t drink tea like that.

i googled and it's true most of these bottled water companies just use tap water and then filter again the same way we can do at home with one those brita pitchers

and the few that don't just use well water or something like that.

Probably the most overpriced product imo (2000 times more than tap).

Been drinking it all my life, except for the years spent in So. California.

The water here is pretty clean anyway...in fact it's the top water filtration system in the world. As much water as I drink, I'd be a broke mf if I depended solely on bottles or the tank. I keep the bottled stuff mainly for guests.
