Oh word? I thought they parted ways(amicable). I thought he spoke on it but maybe there's paperwork or Busta lets him rock out now he's got his lane.
His album came out under Conglomerqte, and Busta has advertised it. He was never up under Busta where he got a ton of camera or promo time like that Prayah cat. None of them were on ELE2, so who really knows?

Agreed, but Stove God has a more intricate pen IMO. I would also have believability as a toss up. Busta went from high school party guy to lovable weirdo maniac to super thug crack dealer to rich grizzled veteran.
When I say believability I'm strictly talking about how it sounds. Sorta like when in battle rap, JC sounds believable, regardless if you think the person is really like that, Busta delivers his bars with a confidence and assertiveness that you can't teach. That's how I feel about Busta.

That's fair. By that metric, I still have it as a toss up. SGC believes his own bullshyt as much as anyone. Like I said earlier, it's just Aaron Cooks turned up.

Lot of buffoonery in this thread. Stove God is a great lyricist but as someone mentioned before his best attributes are performative and not based on his lyrical miracle rhyme schemes.

To me he’s almost like a more refined student of the dipset collective

How are we defining lyrical? Stove God's best attribute is his structure and comic timing. His verses sound like he's doing stand up. It's like what if Mitch Hedberg was a rapper :russ:

His verse on Westheimer is one of the funniest things I've ever heard from a rapper
