I lived in Italy for 4 years. You aint seen shyt in two weekends lmfao. The South is alot bigger than Sicily which is basically its own island. There’s quite a few mixed people there with long ties to the country
.
2 weeks? ive been there twice but ventured 4 weeks each visit..
I said in my original statement i saw black people..but they were migrants from the horn and people who are black or mixed are half italian..so stop with your bullshyt.

Coligenetics threads never disappoint :wow:

This goes back to how people falsefly consider "White" to being something homogenous. The English treated the Irish like barbarians even though they were literally accros the pond. Northern Euros have always looked down on Southern Euros, a lot still do (when discussing economic issues within the EU, the acronym "PIGS" is sometimes used, as in Portugal Italy Greece Spain) In Belgium up until like the 60s you had "No Italians allowed" writing in some bars/restaurants. The first big scale anti-migrant violence in France was in the South against Italians. Hell Northern Italians look down on Southern Italians. So on and so forth.

That being said the majority of Italians look white with little to no difference with other Euros. Especially in the North obviously. The more South you go you'll have people with a somewhat darker skin tone and somewhat different features. IN Sicily I saw some dudes who looked like Northern Africans (which is reflected on the other side, where you have Northern Africans that all but look like Southern Europeans). And for all the connections with the rest of the Mediterranean (a big part of which is, obviously, white) over the centuries there's also been a whole lot of connections with the rest of Europe, I mean Normands went all the way down to Sicily and continental southern Italy (iirc, they ended the Muslim presence there in like the 11th or 12th century).

Obviously now you have Italians with a migrant background, but that only started a couple decades ago to be a significant number and presence.
