I consider them black but I don't consider them my brothers just like I consider my distant cousins my family but don't I don't consider them my brothers
So you see a black man and he's your brother, but you then get to know him and find out he's not AA, he's Trinidadian, so you change you position and consider him a distant cousin? :why: Makes absolutely zero sense

If you don't share my culture/heritage then I don't consider you my brother

I've seen people who aren't of my group say way too much crazy shyt

I still root for non AA blacks (excluding Somalis) over all non blacks

It's nothing personal.

I do see non AAs as black. Where did I say I didn't? Similarly to how Japanese people see South Koreans as Asians but they don't consider Koreans their brothers

And I'm not going to bother explaining my culture to you because what you're gonna do is go through everything I say and find some BS way to link it to other blacks

Black American culture = the shared experience of being public enemy in the most powerful nation in the world, hip hop/R&B/gospel, soul food, our unique sense of humor and ability to poke fun at anything, our unique church/barbershop/family gathering cultures that you won't find anywhere else, roasting sessions, our domination of basketball/American football, etc

No, but then again I don't have a triabalistic bone in my body, actually I do but it's the size of a pinky bone, can care less about culture, and barely feel connected to the people actually around me.
fukk human solidarity as well.

I don't understand these two things at all, can you explain what they are and why you listed them?
Other than that I understand the rest of your list.

Somalians are the only black people in the diaspora that I cant really instantly embrace as "my people". I have nothing against them they just don't physically look black to me. Their bone structure, hair and other features seem distinctively different than most other black folks.

maybe brother is the wrong word. I feel most connected with other black Americans. That's not to say I'm cool with black American but we share the same culture which makes it easier to gel.
yeah I get that, but at the same time I feel like via the internet a 'global culture' is happening. we all listen to the same music, eat the same food, watch the same movies, etc.
