The universe is big. Your telling me no other life exists out there? Just us in an ever expanding universe

Do you see how much you just said while knowing so little? Firstly you dont even know exactly what life is. If it is a simulation,this existence hasnt been around for any longer than youve been alive. So in that context saying "God would have flooded us by now" sounds silly.
What if earths cycles are like Seasons of a t.v show. And in me and your cycle,everyone who survives and arent just extras will live to see it end.
Now you see the point,how vast the universe LOOKS,is completely irrelevent. If we will never come close to that level of space travel in our season/cycle. Its like getting to the edge of a video game, seeing nothing but water and sky. And saying "It must be something out there
". No there is nothing out there relevent to winning the game
If you knew our cycle has to end in the next 50 years or so. The earth would be your universe and only focus. Because you know full well we wouldnt achieve space travel to that level in 50 years. The "universe" could easily just be scenery for the easily distracted.
