To add to that, I'd also be venture to say those relationships with immediate family is the same. Although a mother, father, child, or sibling might not be as quick to cut you off as a romantic interest is, it happens everyday. Plenty of people are estranged from parents and siblings.

Kind of piggy backing off of the thread about men crying in front of women. In my opinion I think is truly fukked up for a women who claims to love her dude feel a certain type of way when he express emotion like crying. I agree with the people that said all romantic love is conditional.

But that shouldn’t make a woman look at a man as weak if he emotes from time to time. Women who think like this are mentally and emotionally broken. They have been physically, mentally and emotionally open to manipulative and abusive men and that warps their view of normal love and a healthy well-adjusted male. She mistakes dysfunction for love and affection and will ruin any guy with his head on straight who tries to love her.

Yes it is conditional. There’s a reason women find men more attractive when they’re with other women. It’s cause they know there’s something that man is doing for that woman to keep her happy. They want that. Once that man is unable to provide it or they get tired of it, that’s when breakups happen, divorces, resentments, cheating.
