What’s beating her now going to change though? Like I said it will just lead to her taking better care to hide her behaviour. Also beating a child is a greater contributor in a child feeling like they can’t talk to their parents or confide in them. There is a fine line between respect and fear and most parents settle on fear, this is why you have got to get them while they are young and monitor their activities more closely.
