Growing up we always had one, but my parents never let us use it unless we were drying dishes and for storage. I remember I tried to turn it on once and my mother slapped my eyeballs out of my head.
It wasn't until I was a grown man that I first used one. My girlfriend had to show me how to use it. I was literally amazed.

Now it's my go to. I haven't handwashed a full set of dishes in years. It really is one of the GOAT appliances in the kitchen.

Nah. A lot of dishwashers have sensors that can auto adjust to load size. You don't need to have a bunch of dishes in there to use it. Let that myth go breh.
It’s not about a myth. I’m saying you shouldn’t need to use the dishwasher to wash 4 dishes. That’s a personal opinion

If you’re a single man with his own place, you shouldn’t use enough dishes to need to use it. If you have a family, you definitely should.

I actually enjoyed washing my own dishes for a few years when I moved out. I found it a little therapeutic. I decided to use my dish washer one day out the blue and been using it ever since lol. My time is valuable.

I've lived for years in different places that did or didn't have a dishwasher. Wifey and I both cook the majority of the meals so we run the dishwasher like 5-7 times a week and it's always full with everything getting a pre rinse. It's a huge time saver.
I also have to shout out the food disposal in under the sink. That shyt right there is :ohlawd: . Taking out the trash with no food in it is next level.

Another shout out to having laundry machines in the crib. I really hated going to laundromats.

Lol at being afraid of dishwashers. Wtf is the thought process behind that?
