diet soda is disgusting IMO

You get used to it.

I'm not a huge fan but it saves you a LOT of calories/carbs if you're having mixed drinks.

I drink the occasional soda, but I'm diabetic, so no more than a couple of cans a week. I try to only drink foreign sodas made with can sugar, less sugar spikes.

I knew these latino kids that were all about this one bodega that had coke-a-cola from columbia. it came in the old fashion bottle, and it really did taste different (all jokes about coke from columbia aside)

Less chemicals, I've had those when I'm in Miami. One thing about soda, it doesn't even evaporate it becomes this sticky goo. All these chemicals in processed food can't be good, especially if you lost the genetic lottery and are prone to cancer and chronic diseases.

I don't drink beer/alcohol but I don't think soda does anything for you while I hear drinking the occasional beer is good for you kidneys (prevents kidney stones).

nah, I quit like 10 years ago. I'm not a nazi about it though. if I'm somewhere, and that's what they got to drink, I'll drink it. after not drinking coke for awhile, that shyt tastes like carbonated battery acid
