Yeah. I have Apple Music, Hulu, Netflix, amazon etc, but I still but physical versions of stuff I like. Problem with streaming services is they can take anything off at any time. If I own a physical copy, I can watch, listen any time I want no matter what.

Theres a bit of nostalgia in buying blu rays that i cant let go of, its like going to blockbuster when you were young seeing all the covers before you make your choice or when going out to get a movie was a big thing

I don't have a 4K tv and don't plan on getting one anytime soon.
I'm an 80's baby that grew up watching movies on a wooden floor model tv. I'm more than fine with 1080p.

Breh, just wait for 8k in about 10-15 years.

i only buy quality blu ray releases (criterion, arrow, synapse, kino etc.) and stuff that is obscure enough to probably have its streaming licenses lost by a company like netflix at some point, or maybe not even get picked up at all

And yes, I still buy physical media. I will never grow out of it. I like the feeling of actually owning it.

I still have DVDs, and occasionally buy them if the movie/show isn't on blu. And I'm picky on buying blus.

Would definitely buy blurays if i ever got a decent tv and surround sound set up. TV show sets seem to come down on sale every so often but i sometimes feel like i would regret spending the money due to not watching them often enough

Yea I used to have tv sets of Simpsons, ncis, csi, ER, 24, Veronica Mars, and more....I only watched 24 multiple times

I've been collecting Blu-Ray ever since 2012. I'm buying the 4K discs as well.

I've got over 100+ blu rays, so yeah. My buying has slowed down since I got pretty much everything I like, but I just picked up John Wick Chapter 2 on Friday
