In Texas alone, they are terrified and so they are wanting to put a stop to it. Texas republicans know they have to keep the suburbs. Collin, Williamson, Denton, and Fort Bend Counties were solidly deep red 15 years ago. 4 out of those 5 counties are no longer deep red and are now purple or just blue and the other is trending purple. Texas Republicans know that if they starting losing the suburbs, they will lose Texas.This is why Republicans are going ham.
