They really gonna have brock lose 3 straight times to Roman? I’m iffy about giving a God push to someone in Roman shoes. Covid, leukemia, Hollywood, pick one. They’d be assed out

Why not? Thats the point of building him up. Its not like he’s losing any credibility.

He is home-grown, tows the company line, has direct ties to the most successful crossover wrestler ever, was the one they hand picked and force fed, committed alot of resources to elevating.

And he's not a bad talent either.

I would argue he is actually one of the safer people to invest in.

He's a long ways away from fishing in Hollywood, as long as he has a spot like this in WWE he won't fukk them over like that. And regarding Leukemia worked for years without issues, so if God give him that battle again so be it, but I don't really see it as a negative unless it happens again in the next couple of years. Then that's definitely something to worry about.

They’re gonna back themselves into a corner. “Well Brock lost to him 3 times in a row, so he can’t possibly lose to Drew, Big E, Lashley, etc”. Is the big face they’re building heel Roman for, Roman himself?

Roman is 37 in May, and his deal is up in the next couple of years. If he’s not Hollywood ready soon, you think dude gonna start in his mid 40s? Rock left for Hollywood at 30. I’m almost certain he’s a part timer after this deal. He’d do well in that role and have more big matches, but keeping Roman flawless another 16 months at least is questionable. They have a new generation of stars to make, the ONE thing I agree with NXT 2.0 and the recent MJF ‘scoop’ is that WWE main roster needs to get younger, Roman is at the point of stardom where he can take losses fine.

37 is nothing in wrestling, he can go for another 5 years at the top if he take care of his body. As a performer, he really only just entered his peak.. Also don't think that every top star from WWE has to try to transition to Hollywood, it's a nice gig if you can do it, but getting interest and being good at it are also required. Rock was the rarity, and Cena is only just now really getting into it, and he 44. He also had a decade of being last era's "Hulk Hogan" to ride on, considerably more recognition than Roman will likely ever get, even at the end of his WWE career.

You’re right, but they create the narrative.
