Any time I hear shyt like this, I always wanna know what has changed and how did it look in previous years.
Cause without context, the discussion is kinda pointless.

However, I do think that more old QBs staying fit getting more chances means that they bush young QBs.
In this draft we've seen two low picks from the 2012 draft replace two high picks from the 2022 draft (a bit unfair comparing their classes given the depth of 12 vs the opposite of 22).

What I've also noticed is that they are drafting kids outta school, with like 3 years of experience and they're coming out with star power, people expecting them to be NFL level and this being on trash teams with no weapons. When the trash team, continues to be trash, they bush the young QB real quick and go for a more experienced person and hit the draft again. I don't remember that this was the case before, but maybe it was.

I think it’s too many coaches trying to round peg square hole kids

the amount of coaches on a football team on the college and pro level is always interesting to me. how many of these people are actually good at their job in the first place? the law of averages have to say that many or even most are not that qualified.

and there is a nepotism problem especially.

Bruce Arians warned everyone about this years ago

"The most important trait needed to become a QB is leadership. But there is no leadership required of the quarterback in [the college] version of the spread. He doesn’t talk to his teammates in the huddle, he doesn’t change the snap count — hell, he barely even reads the defense. The college spread quarterback doesn’t learn the mental and physical skills needed to execute the intricacies of the NFL game. That puts the college spread QBs who aspire to play and succeed in the NFL at a distinct disadvantage.”

Last month, Kurt Warner

And then add that they're getting no help at the pro level, and there's a reason you're seeing bad qb play

Unless teams have a bonafide star, they simply date QBs for the short to intermediate term...teams always keep their eyes open for better options unless you're a team like KC or Buff

If a QB is worth $50M in this current climate, you should build a team around them that suits their strengths

I actually think the problem is stability...how long was Charlie Weis Brady's OC? How long was Tom Moore Peyton Manning's OC? My team's QB is on his 4th OC in 5 yrs.

QBs need stability, they need experience around them, they need support from the front office...they need patience

Its simple a lack of patience from Ownership Operations GM coaches down to the players and fans. Many want to skip the steps of the organic process. The successes failures learnings and building from that over a 3-5 year period in a players development. Unfortunately the 3-5 year window has becomes 1-3 years. And its happening more and more in sports. Where it has to be results TODAY not wait till tomorrow.
