Nah, they’re a cool little story tho, I like their team and they’ve been balling out. However they aren’t beating Boston, even if they don’t have Porzingis. I will say their best bet is to get that 1 seed and let the chips fall where they may. Conference Finals is their ceiling if everything goes right for them.

Miami made finals twice wit Bam Adebayo as 2nd option. I'm not sayin he better but is Mobley all that different? They had basically same numbers against Boston last playoffs. Garland and Jarrett a better 3/4 than Miami 3/4 best players were too.

I knew someone was gonna make this comparison. If D-Mitch plays Yimmy did in those 2 playoff runs its technically possible (we know he wont tho)
But because its happened a few times i wouldnt count on it happening again...The overwhelming majority of teams that make th finals have 2-3 guys who can create off the dribble and score in iso....The outlers dont make the rule.

If Mobley continues asserting himself on the floor like he has so far in the season, then yes. He’s the key

Asserting urself in the post season much different than regular season...In a watered down league where all advantages are to offense he still struggles to get 20 on a nightly basis...
