We seen Mazzulla outcoached by Snyder and Spo in playoffs. Doc and Carlisle head him confused too. Last season superteam talent against injured teams probably not goin same way. Would not be surprised if Atkinson coach circles round em.
I see why nikkas sayin 2015 Hawks but that silly to me. Mobley and Jarrett >>> Millsap and Horford and even if you think that close the gap from Garland and DMitch to Jeff fukking Teague and Kyle fukking Korver is ASTRONOMICAL. Like those 2 were fake ass all stars in a historically weak conference and everyone knew it that they wasn't even gon make it again and shouldn't have even that season. They wasn't real all stars. DMitch been a borderline MVP candidate in past and a top 5 SG for YEARS was even in best SG talks not long back. Garland a top 10 PG easy shiiieeeeeet we might got to have some uncomfortable convos bout his rankin wit some of these PGs that nikkas say is supposedly better cause i dunno
2025 Cavs bench is WAY better too. 2015 Hawks only had a rookie 20yo Denis Schroder.
2025 got LeVert who better than anyone they got on bench. I mean Kent Bazemore, Mike Scott, Mero Antic, Shelvin Mack?
shyt Caris way closer to Teague and Korver than those 2 fake all stars were to Garland or DMitch. They got Max Strus who was a starter on a finals team, can defend and is a elite sniper. Okoro a solid 3&d wing and those cacs like Dean Wade, Georges Niang, Sam Merrill always seem to have a game where one of em got close to or 20 goin 5/9 from 3 or some shyt. Ty Jerome one of the best bench PGs this season too shyt he might be as good as Schroder was in 2015 for Hawks just been tough for teams to deal wit on both ends wit his pace, passin, drivin he like a more pass heavy but worse scorin Payton Pritchard.
Yeah I dunno I believe this nikkas now. They could lose but outside of injury I don't see em flamin out like those paper tiger Hawks. They got ACTUAL star guards and DMitch has had some stupid supernova playoff series where he look like a top 5 player. No one on the shytty Least in 2015 outside of Bron/Kyrie were capable of playoff series like that and Garland could take off too.
Honestly that Pacers rematch showed me a lot. Pacers punched em in mouth in 3rd and they just couldn't hit shyt. It happens. A fake team would have underperformed and maybe lost again the next game. They beat the shyt out those nikkas, had em mad ejectin each other n shyt. That looked like a title contender response and adjustments was made.

I think this is an elite team and got the minerals. Plus they are playoff tested as a group.

Ultimately no team in the East has a front-line tandem that can mess with Allen-Mobley.
You might have the best singular big (Giannis, KAT, Embiid, etc) but over 48 minutes CLE’s tandem will win the battle of attrition. They’re basically a modern, more versatile version of what Ben and Rasheed were for the Pistons.
Of course their overall defense isn’t as oppressive, in part bc their back court is undersized and exploitable.. but you don’t gotta be a prefect/flawless team to make the Finals.
