No, thank God. Most of them were heavy handed and corny as fukk. You can't crow bar something like racism or child molestation into a 30 minute sitcom....shyt was awkward as hell most of the time.

I got my daughter watching Boy meets World and she likes it more than Girl meets World .. and she says you learned stuff on the Shows back in the days...

They stopped doing these on sitcoms and started doing them on cable news channels. CNN has a very special episode about this same shyt every other day. Granted it's not as well-done as when Jo got date raped on Facts of Life or poor poor Dudley got ditched by Arnold to get special touched by the old guy from WKRP, but Don Lemon and Solidad O'Brian can only do so much.
