The very nature of conservatism atleast in the usa, stems from wanting to preserve a culture and way of life where white men and only them rule the country and had the final word, cosnervatvies idea of america being great is 50s where women couldnt open a bank account without husbands permission and blacks couldnt look a white man in the eye. But by definition weren't Black Americans living a conservative lifestyle? Isnt that how Africans lived? The man brought home the bread, the wife took care of the kids. The black family unit was intact. No need for white daycare. Black children had two parents under the same household.

You aren't that's why i try to distinguish to me the word ''conservatism'' especially in current america and society is almost synonymous with racism and racist beliefs. I get your point about ''traditional conservative family'' i guess i would frame it better. Its just conservatism and racism are too intertwined, the very word is toxic in it of itself. Furthermore what i am saying is that conservative family unit and marriage harkens back to a time in the 50s and 40s where black folks didnt have basic rights.
Please don't pretend to be dumb to get this, the era you are longing for where men went to work, women stayed home and raised families in the 40s and 50s and 60s, went hand in hand with systematic oppresion of black people and denial of basic human rights.
