People also tend to buy larger portions just so they won’t run out.
If you ever go to Landmark Theaters, if the ticket says 7:00 pm, the movie will start a 7.
They caught me out there with Oppenheimer. Whereas week before at AMC, Cruise ain't show up until 30 minutes of trailers and commercials

I dont mind the previews, but i do wish these studios would let the theatres show the trailers 1st before dropping them online

Not to long ago, that was one of the benefits of going to the theaters. And they would actually strategically place trailers with movies to boost sales.
