The reason Trump is in office is because millions of people made the conscious decision to vote for him. Blaming only the Democratic leadership absolves those voters of responsibility, as if they had no agency in their own choices. Trump didn't just magically appear in the White House, he was elected. People weighed his rhetoric, his actions, and his platform, and they still decided to cast a vote for him. They decided this despite the template for his administration being laid out in front of them. If you want to analyze Democratic failures, that's fine, because I agree that the old guard needs to go, but let's not pretend Trump's rise was anything other than a choice willingly made by the electorate. And they have to reckon with that choice.

This. I was actually seeing some action that Dems were doing but it wasn't yet literally walking to USAID and holding a press conference. Folks been speaking the whole time but it wasn't covered like that. That said, good that they are getting more united to make a public stand but while people dunking on them for "not doing anything" all they can do is obstruct. They can't prevent. That shyt went away when they were voted into minority status in both chambers. We literally have to hope the courts not only do their jobs but are respected otherwise lawful means literally won't work.

A bunch of people criticizing them for not moving will still criticize them when the system works as intended e.g. Republicans do shyt because they have been voted to every lever of power.
