first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title:

Nas: "Yo son when was the last time you read a book? :usure:

DMX: "Never muthafukka!!!" :pacspit:

Nas: :dwillhuh::merchant:

Looking back, that movie is horrible...but when it came out it was one of my fav's.
I can watch that shyt off the strength of how they dressed...brings back so many memories.

DMX mentally enslaved a lot of young black dudes and became a damn zombie that ended up being a crackhead. So what if he had that hoodrat begging for dikk? The late 90s had that super thug shyt that made a generation of underachievers

late 90s wasnt the super thug era...thats more like the early/mid 90's.

After watching that clip I actually agree w/ DMX. Cats spend too much time talking about what they are going to do, or too much time talking about the complexities of life...when in actuality most peoples problems would be solved if they put work in and got money.
People like to talk about the ills of the "black community" like its some puzzle...everything wrong w/ the black community comes down to the poverty mindset....you break that, and the world opens up.

I mean...the hood wasnt sweet when it was Italians/Irish/Jews in it...shyt, a lot of cities were more violent then than they are now.
