DJ Quik is a icon in Hip Hop & I'm a definitely 100% a fan but homie was straight hating on Kanye. It's fine for Quik to express his dislike of TLOP, but all the extras with the insults was unnecessary.

Justifiably, I think Quik is angry & feels that he should be getting more acclaim & opportunities for his music/talents than some of the less deserving rappers/producers (past & present) who became more popular or famous.

There's far more producers he could've went after besides Ye if he wanted to take it there. He could've even said that he was better than Ye and said his recent work was better.

The premise isn't irrelevant if you're generally speaking about acclaim and opportunities that he should be getting more than less deserving rappers/producers.

Quik is reiterating issues that regular individuals have with Kanye and his music. It's his opinion, but it's an opinion that's shared with people who view Kanye and his music in the same light. I remember when Quincy Jones went in on Kanye a few years ago and his critique of Kanye's music was a little harsher. He reduced Kanye to being just a rapper and completely dismissed him as a producer.

i agree....the album wasn't that good, it wasn't wack, just not that good it had a few songs, that's bout it. Plus....who puts out an album, then goes back and changes the mixing and mastering, puts it out again, then goes back and updates it again.... that whole scenario was a mess....I aint never seen that type of shxt before.....Kanye cldnt have taken this album too seriously
