It’s not obvious bc this IS how real estate flipping works and this IS how investing sometimes works:

You give someone money to invest in abc but unbeknowst to you they invest in xyz..or abc don’t exist. You’ve been defrauded. You are a fraudee, not a fraudor. It’s a pretty simple case , only made more provocative bc Envy is a highly unlikeable guy

there are plenty of shades of grey in this case.

Envy promoted him and is on tape and video saying that this convicted drug trafficker was his partner. what remains to be seen is the level of exposure and involvement he has with the wire fraud case that Ceasar is caught up in. Being sloppy or unaware is not a copout.

Also Ceasar is saying the idea that Envy is a victim is laughable, for whatever its worth.

Multiple names/people investing in the same small-to-medium housing properties though? That's not ordinary practice and kills any hope for normal returns. If you're sharing $3000 of rent from tenants amongst ten fellow "investors"...what are you really doing beyond getting scammed.
