High key you will be better for it than most stylists.I’m stuck doing my daughter’s hair instead of her regular stylist and I swear by this - the remedy.
Thx. It’s a learning process.. I’ve been watching a lot of videos and tutorials on hair maintenance and styles for her hair. Life hits fast when it slows down and we realize that we have to adapt to situations and not depend on help that was so easily accessible before. So black hair comes in a bunch of different types but small springy coils are a crowning feature of our hair type.
When explaining blk hair to people I often liken it to a slinky. It coils upon itself very, very tightly. But when u stretch it out it can be amazingly long.
This can be confusing to some who think our hair doesn’t seem to grow. Meanwhile there can be inches and inches of hair tucked away in the tight coil of the strands.

I’ve seen some people be adamant about blk hair length not realizing just how much length is hidden by shrinkage.
