Yes I do . I go by how I see melo play he wasn't required to be defensive player on the nuggets that's both (mostly ) his and Karl's fault . The thing is I can't say bad play = not giving his all instead I judge by how hard he plays with adversity . Celtics game 2 with no help he carried us to almost winning if jeffries dunks . Game 4 vs the heat drops 40 he could let us get swept instead he balled out . This season is the first time i saw him not give his all but he was also injured and Dantoni was misusing him . So he got distracted but he still played to try and give us a chance. Can I say bron quits ang doesn't give his all after what happened vs the celts last year with cavs or vs the mavs?

You can claim Atl fans are this and that but Smith has been to the 2nd round like 4-5 times and Melo has only been once. Smith can give you assists and 15-18ppg as well as great defense and he's a defensive anchor. I would take Smith over Melo.

Josh Smith is a great defensive player. He is one of the best at playing the passing lane. He is a presence in the paint from an attacking standpoint.
