It's not about who scored the most points but who has the most extensive offensive repertoire. LeBron has scored a lot of points in the paint due to his athleticism.

So it seems athleticism > offensive repertoire because 1 guy is getting it done in both the box score and the win column, and 1 guy is not. :yeshrug:

So what good is this "extensive offensive repertoire" doing him?

Why are you comparing bron and melo its no comparison , what are you typing all this non sense for?

Melo efficiency is avg because his shot selection rivals, kobe monta jr smith and other nikkas who like to shoot fade aways over three defenders. Bron is patient and has an extremely high bball IQ so he is more efficient, he is also a better athlete so he is finishes better at the rim. Everyone know's Melo shot selection is bad that thats why his efficiency is not on durant and brons level, same with Kobe

What are you even asking?

Exactly. ....Melo does make bad shots. No one can make bad shots consistently though.

Bad shot makers generally at the end of day day result in inefficient play. But he always falls back on the "well those are shots I can make" line which is so frustrating as a Knicks fan....its just bad basketball.

I'm simply pointing out what the OP points out. If Melo is such a dynamic scorer, why doesn't he ever lead the league in scoring? Why isn't he outscoring guys who aren't even "scorers" themselves?

For that to be his only claim to fame, that's not a good look.

Its unfair to put the blame on Melo when Amares contract is killing the knicks..him and Amare dont fit and its why the Knicks will be stuck in mediocrity..

Is Melo a superstar who u can win it all with as your best player no but its unfair to say its all his fault..

The one thing i will say seeing him play everyday though is if you like the game of basketball in terms of ball movement and passing with Melo out there putitng his head down and ball stopping its :scusthov: to watch at times..

I just told you why, its the same reason dwade is more efficient that Kobe, its shot selection, but you will never hear anyone say Dwade is a better scorer that Kobe riiight.....

So far I've read that Melo hasn't "taken" NY anywhere. Well, has Melo even played 100 regular season games for NY? Has he had a training camp with NY yet? Isn't NY just now fleshing out the team they're trying to build? Ah fukk it, go back to ignoring that fact. Let's move on...

"Melo couldnt lead NY past the flabby and sick Celtics". True. And with such fine teammates as Bill Walker, Derrick Brown, Renaldo Balkman, Ronny Turiaf, and Toney Douglas. No Stat, No Billups, No center, No bench? Man fukk that. Let's ignore those facts too and move on...

"The C's and Indy did better against MIA then the Knicks lol" Word. fukk that Stat injured his hand and was useful in 1 of the 3 games he played. fukk the fact Lin knew he would be a non factor against Miami and didnt want to fukk up all the $$ he made this summer, so he sat out. fukk Shump getting hurt. That didnt actually happen. fukk that our old ass backup PG (that it turns out shoulda took the whole season off) got hurt too, leaving us only with the remains of another old ass, once serviceable PG to run point. These are just facts that get in the way of Melo hate. Damn them. Let's move on...

Let's keep pretending JR is the true 2nd option in NY! Yeah! Then we can come up with cool CAA conspiracies and the like! Let's not, I mean let's NOT act like with No Stat, Lin, or Shumpert, JR wasn't the only guy left after Melo that could get his own shot in the playoffs. He shoulda been getting Jorts and Fields involved wtf!

Man some a you nikkas gotta be trolling...
