They wrote all four movies together and have filmed all of them together. It’s got a really long post production too for the graphics as well.
They still filming for just part 2 and 3. It's possible 4 and 5 won't even come out. Possible.

Cameron said couple years ago if 3 and 4 don't make enough money 4 and 5 won't happen.

But then I read that some of part 4 has already been filmed. So idk.

Seems like a bad idea to film multiple parts of a movie who's whole draw is the CGI. shyt will still be 2019 graphics in 2026 and look dated af.

Before this month I had zero idea there was going to be a new avatar let alone 5...I want to be here to see it bomb exceptionally at the box office.

It's similar to Star Wars. After TLJ came out, I saw die hard fans on FB and even people here shun it off, but once that trailer hit a few weeks ago, it seems like everyone is back on board. :skip: I'll never really understand how Avatar made all of that money. I know the 3D aspect was re-introduced and it was Cameron's first film in 12 years but I remember leaving the theater and thinking to myself. "Meh. :manny:" I tried watching it again a few months later and fell asleep. I've only ever fully watched it once.

But but bur but we got the X-Men and Fantastic Four back! :krs: Seriously people didn't look at the bigger picture because now a lot of possibly great films will go the wayside now that Fox is owned by the mouse. :francis:

No more independent releases......thats a sad world to live in.
