Discussion: Ghostbusters (1984)

That ether. Talk about shytting on someone. Anyway, I haven't seen this movie discussed on The Coli. Ghostbusters IMO is one of those movies that ages like wine. It gets better as you get older. The star power and quotables are . Plus the main villain of the movie is giant marshmallow man:

That face needs to be the new .

Anyway, it's a classic in my book. Thoughts?

Fun fact: This movie came out the same day as Gremlins. Imagine being a kid on June 7, 1984.

The film was maybe 3 to 4 props less than being an adult catered horror flick...
Brilliant fun film, zul usef to have me shook up.

Straight fukking classic. they don't make them like this anymore (though if they did I get the feeling people would hate on them). The shyt with Rick Moranis still gets a laugh out of me to this day.

I do wish they had gone with the original concept of Winston though. Dude was supposed to be some bad ass former Marine with multiple doctorates. He was going to be hypercompetent in comparison to the others and for whatever reason they changed it completely to him just being "black guy".

This is a pure classic, the cast was just . Bill Murray as Peter Venkman was probably my favorite role he's played followed by his character in Groundhog's Day. This movie also spawned one of the best if not "the" best spinoff cartoon series

I love Beverly Hills Cop but Ghostbusters could have been on some other shyt with Eddie Murphy in it

A classic in every sense of the word and my favorite movie of all time.

Bill Murray's dikkless line about Walter Peck is my favorite movie line of all time, just the way Bill delivered it in only a way Bill Murray could.
